Kekinow Native Housing Society – Joint Labour/Management Meeting – February 11, 2019

To: All MoveUP members at Kekinow Native Housing Society
A joint labour/management meeting has been scheduled for Monday, February 11, 2019. These meetings are scheduled on a bi-monthly basis and are intended to allow the union and the employer to meet and discuss issues concerning your working environment at Kekinow. The union is represented by your job steward, Karen McCallum and your union representative from MoveUP. The employer is represented by Shelly Hill and her human resources advisor, Glen Grant.
As this is an opportunity for you to be heard, we would like to ask you to contact either Karen McCallum in Chilliwack at 604-220-7587 or Cheryl Popeniuk at the union office at 604-299-0378 or via email cpopeniuk@moveuptogether.ca prior to February 11th to provide us with any questions or concerns you may have so that we can address them with the employer.
We would also like to take this opportunity to advise you that Nathan Beausoleil has been appointed to be your union representative at MoveUP effective immediately. Nathan is a very capable union representative who also represents our members at Lu’ma Native Housing Society, so should be a perfect fit for our members at Kekinow.
