Kekinow Native Housing Society – Bargaining Update

To: All MoveUP members at Kekinow Native Housing Society
The employer and your union met to negotiate the next contract on September 17, 22 and 23, and October 1st, 2021. The parties managed to sign off on several non-monetary proposals put forward by both parties.
We will meet for bargaining again on October 6th and 7th, for monetary proposals.
Recently, your appointed bargaining committee member and job steward has departed employment at Kekinow, and as such, your worksite currently does not have a job steward. We are seeking interested volunteers to put their name forward to act as job steward and bargaining committee member.
