MoveUP Women’s Rights Committee is supporting the Vancouver and District Labour Council’s upcoming virtual event on March 8, marking International Women’s Day 2021 called “She-Cession-The Economic Impact of The Pandemic on Women and Families.”
Iglika Ivanova, Senior Economist and Public Interest Researcher at the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, will be guest speaker discussing the economic impact of the pandemic on women and families and what needs to be done. There will also be a Q&A following the speech.
