ISCU – September 19th Holiday

As you have likely just heard, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has heralded that Monday, September 19, the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, will be a federal holiday.

Premier John Horgan has also declared Monday, September 19, a day of remembrance this year to align with the federal decision to mark the Queen’s funeral with a holiday.

We’ve spoken with your employer and despite the holiday not being proclaimed as a statutory holiday federally or provincially, they will grant the paid holiday this year to MoveUP members at Island Savings Credit Union.
