***IMPORTANT REMINDER***
If you have not already sent in your 3 most current pay stubs to Lisa Jeffery at ljeffery@moveuptogether.ca please do so by the end of day today, Monday, November 25. If you do not submit your pay stubs you will not get paid for the days that Unifor is striking.
As you are no doubt aware MoveUP is working hard on your behalf in order to be as prepared as possible for any possible work disruptions. Accordingly, we have been requesting individual employment information in order to ensure we have the most current information.
MoveUP is proud that our members have been resolute in our determination that we will not cross picket lines. This decision will obviously impact pay cheques. This means that we will need some information in order to address this possibility.
For November 27, 28, and 29, MoveUP has decided to waive the normal strike pay provisions of our Constitution and Bylaws and we will be topping up to regular net pay for those three days. This means that we require payroll information from all of our members who may be impacted.
To be paid, members must report to their designated MoveUP Site Captain for participation and these must be your scheduled work days.
We are asking all MoveUP members to supply MoveUP with your three most recent paystubs. Please forward the paystubs by end of day Monday, November 25 to ljeffery@moveuptogether.ca.
