To: All MoveUP members at ICBC at Head Office
On Tuesday, April 22nd, Dimitri Ossinsky, your newly elected Vice President, Georgi Bates and Dora Wong, your Union Representatives, will be visiting ICBC Head Office.
We will be doing an informal meet-and-greet with our members. We will be at the office all day and want to reach as many members as we can. If you want to meet with us while we are there, please reply to this bulletin with your name, room number, and a good time in the day to come by so we can mark it in our schedules.
We are also looking to recruit more members to become Job Stewards. Our stewards occupy the most valuable roles in our union. Stewards provide workplace leadership and information, insight, and understanding to the staff and elected representatives at the MoveUP office. They offer support and guidance to their co-workers, keep little problems from becoming big ones, and help make the workplace function smoothly. It is crucial to have stewards in every office, in every role, and from all backgrounds.
