ICBC – Claims Injury Corporate Legal Posting Opportunity

To: MoveUP ICBC members - Claims Support Assistant, Legal Assistant - Litigation, Legal Billing Representative
We are pleased to advise that because of our ongoing efforts with ICBC to retain as many employees in Claims Legal Services as possible, the parties have reached an agreement for the Corporation to recruit employees in certain jobs for vacancies that will be coming up in Corporate Law. The agreement reached means that prior to consideration being given to other qualified candidates, employees in the following jobs will be given consideration in upcoming job postings to move laterally into Corporate Law:
- Claims Support Assistants (Job Code 806)
- Legal Assistants – Litigation (Job Code 403)
- Legal Billing Representative (Job Code 117671)
- Paralegal (Job Code 406)
If you are currently in any of the above-mentioned jobs in Claims Legal Services, please watch for notification from ICBC about upcoming job postings for these jobs in Corporate Law. ICBC intends to have these job postings completed no later than January 30, 2026.
Please be aware that we continue to negotiate with ICBC for other prioritized hiring opportunities for Claims Legal Services employees, as well as voluntary severance options, and will further update everyone when those agreements are reached.
