ICBC – Claims Contact Center Hours Change

To: All MoveUP members at ICBC


ICBC announced yesterday that it is changing the hours of operation of its Claim Contact Centre from 24 hours per day to 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, seven days per week. 

We understand from the Corporation that this change in operational hours will coincide with the effective date of a new shift schedule on February 23, 2025, following an upcoming shift on January 22, 2025.  

We understand this is a significant change impacting hundreds of our members. We have appointed MoveUP Executive Board Member Jeff Bryant (jbryant@moveuptogether.ca) and Executive Councillor James Davis as focal points for you to connect with regarding this change. We welcome feedback on this change to be brought forward to Jeff and/or James so we can review these changes with ICBC. We will be in communication with ICBC with feedback received to ensure your questions, concerns, and suggestions are addressed. 

If the changes in hours will impact an accommodation you have and you work out of the Surrey Guildford Corporate Centre, please contact Union Representative Cathy Royle at croyle@moveuptogether.ca. If you work at a different location, please email reception@moveuptogether.ca with your full name and work location (headquarters) to be connected with your union representative.  

We will continue to monitor the impacts of this change and work with your employer to ensure all impacted members are supported through this change.
