Bargaining
ICBC – Bargaining Update #5
April 8, 2026
To: All MoveUP members at ICBC
Your bargaining committee met with ICBC again on March 31 and April 1 to continue negotiations.
On these days the parties exchanged several counter proposals on non-monetary items and were able to sign off on a couple non-monetary proposals. Further discussions were held around psychologically healthy workplaces, the Auto Claims Model, provincial scheduling and more.
The Parties continue to have discussions on non-monetary items and are approximately halfway through the Union’s non-monetary proposals. Momentum feels like it is increasing and we believe this will continue given that the parties meet almost every other week for the next few months. The parties have different priorities and will undoubtedly hit some roadblocks, but your Union committee is working hard to move the priorities of the membership forward.
What’s Next?
The Parties have 12 days of bargaining booked over the next few months. Please visit our new bargaining website to view these dates and for all things bargaining related!
Your bargaining committee has been appreciating all the questions and comments we have been receiving. Please continue to contact us by email: icbcbarg@moveuptogether.ca
