ICBC – Bargaining Preparation Update #3

To: All MoveUP members at ICBC
Your Bargaining Committee is pleased to advise that bargaining with your Employer is set to commence on November 19, 2025. In addition to this date, the Parties have an additional 5 bargaining days scheduled throughout December. We expect bargaining to continue into 2026, and additional dates will soon be scheduled.
As has been explained in previous bulletins, we don’t typically start bargaining until the mandate from government is fully confirmed. However, it still remains outstanding, and other groups such as BCGEU and PSEA continue to engage in job action. But as they are in the mediation stage, we feel we are able to move forward as there will be many discussions of non-monetary items that will need to be had prior to monetary. Once again, their fight is our fight and we appreciate all the showings of support from members at ICBC that we have seen over the past couple of months.
What you can do:
This is your contract. You are the union. Help us out by staying informed, reading our bulletins, and providing additional feedback to the bargaining committee as needed.

More information will follow in subsequent bulletins. For success at the table, we need to all move forward together.
