Hertz – Policy Grievance on Pension Contribution Update

The union and employer met to try to resolve the policy grievance pertaining to the pension contributions.

The employer has proposed to resolve this matter by:

• Extending the existing 2024 true up pension contribution to allow for acceptance of employee’s contribution up to January 31, 2025. The employer shall match such pension contribution up to the limits as the letter issued to employees on December 10, 2024. (Just for clarity, you do not have to contribute the full amount stated by the employer in the letter issued to you on December 10. Whatever you do contribute, the employer will match)
• Reassessing employee pension contribution entitlement for fiscal year 2023 and provide true up calculation results if any to employees by January 31, 2025. Employees shall have up to 30 days from being informed of the true up value, to make decision and arrange payment to employer should they wish to participate in additional contribution to their pension.
