Hastings – Ratification Vote
November 21, 2017
To: All MoveUP members at Hastings Entertainment
The Union and the Employer met at the Labour Relations Board for mediation on November 15 and 17, 2017. The Employer has provided the Union with what they say is their best offer.
The Union will be holding ratification meetings on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3, 2017.
The Union does not recommend ratification of this offer.
Please note that the venue for the ratification vote is the Hastings Room, located on the PNE property.
The Hastings Room is located at Gate 2, east of the Forum building. It is a short walk from the track. If you plan on driving to the meeting, there is parking available directly across from the entrance. See attached map here.
The Union will hold the meetings, with a vote occuring at the end of each meeting.
Please make sure you attend one of these important meetings.

Part-time employees: Please bring (12) twelve weeks of your pay stubs to the meeting, to be provided to the Union. This is required to qualify for strike pay. If you get paid bi-weekly, please provide (6) six pay stubs.
