FortisBC-CSC – Bargaining Update #13

To: All MoveUP members at FBC-CSC
We are to writing you with a further update on the status of bargaining following up on our last bulletin that was sent out on March 23, 2023.
On April 21, 2023, our union and the employer met with arbitrator Vince Ready, who is a very well-known, respected, and sought-after arbitrator. At that time, however, the parties were unable to come to a resolution.
The parties have agreed to provide written submissions to Mr. Ready by May 10, 2023. Mr. Ready will then issue non-binding recommendations as soon as possible.
