CVCU – Vote Results re Transfer of Membership

As you are aware ballots were sent out asking members:

Are you in favour of moving your Union Representation from MoveUP (Canadian Office and Professional Employees Union, Local 378) to United Steelworkers?

Our returning officer has counted the votes and the results are as follows:

YES:                         13
NO:                             0
Spoiled Ballots:        0
Total Ballots Cast:  13

As the majority of the membership has voted in favour of moving to the United Steelworkers, MoveUP will be working with USW  in order to facilitate a speedy transfer. We will keep you updated on any future steps on our end.
