CUPE Local 454 – Ratification Vote Instructions

To: All MoveUP Members at CUPE Local 454


We are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with your employer, CUPE 454.

Highlights of the tentative agreement include:

  • 3 year agreement
  • Increase to base rate, additional 2% wage increase in 2021 and 2022. 3% wage increase in 2023.
  • 100% Payout of 90 Days Banked Sick Leave Upon Resignation
  • Increase in work hours from 4 to 5 hours per day.
  • Family Responsibility Leave
  • Domestic or Sexual Violence Leave
  • Gender Transition Leave
  • Christmas Eve inclusion in Stat Holidays

We are recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.

How you vote:

To vote, simply log in to the member portal and you will see the option to vote on the screen. If you are having difficulty signing in to the member portal, please email membership@moveuptogether.ca. If you haven’t already registered for your account, you will need your membership number and home email address and then click here.  If you do not know your membership number please email membership and they will assist you with this. If you are not registered on the member portal prior to the vote opening you will not be eligible to vote.

Voting opens: Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.
Voting closes: Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 12:00pm
