CRPNBC-Employer Serves Section 54 Notice

Your employer has served the union with notice under Article 17 of the collective agreement and Section 54 of the Labour Code regarding the formation of a new regulatory body.

In its notice the employer stated that they do not anticipate any reduction in bargaining unit staff, nor do they anticipate any changes to job descriptions or changes to work, at this time.

The union will be requesting a meeting with the employer soon to begin discussions under the above noted notices.

The union will also schedule a membership meeting for a date following our meeting with the employer
