CIATU BARGAINING COMMITTEE ELECTION – CAST YOUR BALLOT
November 10, 2025
To: All MoveUP Members at CIATU
Thank you to every MoveUP member at CIATU who stepped up to serve on our bargaining committee! The strong response shows that you care about your union, and your contract.
Because so many qualified members put their names forward, we will hold a democratic election to select our bargaining committee. This is your direct opportunity to choose who represents you at the table.
We have set up a vote via SurveyMonkey (link below). You may select up to three (3) nominees in the ballot.
The bargaining committee will be made up of four (4) members. The fourth (4th) position will be held by Shona Dion (CSW 1611). Shona has been acclaimed to the bargaining committee as an executive councillor, and history on past rounds of bargaining.
The members of this committee will play a vital role working with your union representatives to set bargaining priorities, craft proposals, and ultimately help to decide whether to reject or recommend any prospective new agreement.

- Voting is now open (click here for ballot)
- Voting will close Friday November 14th at 4:30pm
- All MoveUp members in the CIATU unit are eligible to vote
