Capilano University – Bargaining Update #5

Your bargaining committee met with the employer from August 27 thru August 30, for bargaining. We were able to come to agreement on most housekeeping issues, and a few significant changes to the collective agreement that we put forward. As well, we had an opportunity to seek clarification on some of their proposals and request information. All of this will help us as we continue discussing changes to the collective agreement and the monetary package.

We will be meeting again with CapilanoU on September 9, and again September 17 to September 20. We are pleased with the progress so far and continue to work to achieve improvements to your collective agreement.
