Dear employees at CanTrust Hosting Co-op,
On behalf of our union, I would like to personally welcome you to our MoveUP family. We are thrilled that the employees at CanTrust Hosting Co-op have chosen MoveUP to represent you both collectively and individually with your employer. This is a role we take very seriously, and we thank you for entrusting this to us.
As a member of MoveUP, that means you now have a stronger and more unified voice in your workplace. This is critical to shaping the terms and conditions that affect your work environment. Our team is excited to meet all of you soon to discuss the issues at your workplace, find out what matters most to you, and negotiate a collective agreement that best suits you and your coworkers.
Whether this is your first union experience, or you have been in a unionized position in the past, I realize that you may have many questions about how being a MoveUP member will affect you at your workplace. As a reminder, MoveUP does not collect union dues until we have finished negotiating your first collective agreement. Once your collective agreement is in place, dues are only 1.5% of your gross wages and are tax deductible.
Our Membership Department will be in touch to provide information on how to create your Member Portal account.
