Canadian Freightways – Responding to your employer’s claims

To: All MoveUP members at Canadian Freightways
We have been made aware of anti-union literature that is being circulated by your employer. Unfortunately, anti-union literature comes with the territory for organizers. We see them especially from employers that fear the collective strength of workers who can have a voice through their union and affect positive changes to their work environment and work culture.
We will have more information as soon as we know on when the vote will occur. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit our resource page at moveuptogether.ca/VoteYes and to share this with your colleagues and other fellow workers at TST-CF.
We are disappointed in today’s email from the employer to staff but, sadly, not surprised. We will be exploring to see whether their email constitutes as an unfair labour practice.
