BCRCC – Tentative Agreement Reached

To: All MoveUP members working for the BC Regional Council of Carpenters

Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with the Employer for a renewal Collective Agreement.

Highlights of the agreement are:

  • 3 year term, from August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2021
  • Upon ratification, each employee will receive a $500.00 signing bonus
  • Effective January 1, 2019, $1.60 per hour increase in pension contributions for all employees
  • Effective August 1, 2019, 3% wage increase for all employees
  • Effective August 1, 2020, 3% wage increase for all employees
  • Updated and improved Union representation language
  • Improved Bereavement Leave, increasing from 3 to 5 days.

Your bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of this agreement, and a ratification meetings will be held at your respective work offices as follows:
