BCFMWU(Admin)-Tentative Agreement Reached
March 13, 2026
To: All MoveUP members at BCFMWU(Admin)
Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with your employer, BCFMWU (Admin).
Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- 4-year deal with wages as follows:
- 2.85% retroactive to August 1, 2025 on top of 2% already paid on February 1, 2025 for a total of 4.85% for 2025
- 4% to be paid on August 1, 2026
- 4% to be paid on August 1, 2027
- 4% to be paid on August 1, 2028
- Benefit increases for counselling up to $1000.00
- Fitness allowance increase
- Overtime increases and “out of assignment benefits”
- Severance pay increases
Your bargaining committee is strongly recommending ratification of the tentative agreement.
We will be holding a ratification meeting and vote later this month. Please stay tuned for updates on the ratification process. This will also be your opportunity to vote on the tentative agreement. The vote will be conducted by secret ballot.
