BCAA-RACC & SL – Bargaining Update
February 20, 2019
To: All MoveUP members at BCAA RACC and SL
We would like to provide an update on the status of collective bargaining negotiations. As we advised in December, we have not come to an agreement with BCAA for the Road Assist bargaining unit or the Service Location bargaining unit. The committees have bargained intensely over the past five months and have found BCAA to be resistant to virtually every meaningful monetary proposal that you indicated was important for us to pursue with your employer.
Given that BCAA has refused to increase their last offer, and we are not recommending it to you as we believe BCAA can do much better, we are hosting a series of meetings around the lower mainland to review the status of negotiations in-person with you, so you can share your questions/concerns with members of both bargaining committees and your union representative. We will also be discussing possible next steps that can be taken to move negotiations forward, so please make every effort to attend one of the following meetings:

February 22 – 6:30 p.m.

February 25 – 7:30 p.m.
Sungod Recreation Centre 7815 112 St, Delta – Lobby Meeting Room
Parking is free.
March 4 – 7:00 p.m.
Abbotsford Recreation Center, 2499 McMillan Rd, Abbotsford – Multipurpose Room 8
Parking is free.
March 6 – 7:00 p.m.
