BC Federation of Labour General Meeting Calendar for 2026

Hello MoveUP members at BCFED,
Your elected stewards and union representative, Georgi Bates, are excited to announce our calendar for our 2026 general membership meetings. The next meeting is set to take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Meetings will be regularly scheduled on the last Wednesday of every second month, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., in the months of May, July, September and November of 2026. We are looking forward to getting together.

- September 30, 2026
- November 25, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Place: Teams (The Teams link will be sent to your home email address).
What’s on the Agenda?
We want to provide members with frequent communications, discussions and updates, but we also want to hear from you. The virtual meeting will be held on Teams, and we are opening to members to ask questions and share your concerns. The goal of our regular general membership meetings are to understand what it is important to you and provide you with regular updates. So please attend, invite your co-workers to attend with you, so we all can get the latest update on what’s happening and what’s coming up. Please let us know if you want to add any topics to the agenda in advance of the meeting.

- Workload concerns
- MoveUP work jurisdiction and bargaining unit work
- Items members want to raise
