To: All MoveUP Members at BC Computerized Dispatch (Yellow Cab)
Your bargaining committee met with your employer on September 15, to begin the process of renewing the collective agreement.
Both sides committed to bargaining in good faith with a mutual goal of reaching a settlement that each party would take back as a recommended settlement.
The parties exchanged proposals and provided brief explanations of the intent behind each proposal.
The parties engaged in some productive conversation at the bargaining table to better understand each other and identify priorities.
The parties expect to reconvene later in September, and we will provide a further update following those dates.
Thanks again for all the support that you have given to your bargaining committee. We are committed to bringing back the best possible agreement.
