BC Civil Liberties Association – Bargaining Committee Appointment

To: All MoveUP Members at BC Civil Liberties Association
Further to our bulletin of October 25, 2023, your bargaining committee is scheduled to meet with your employer to continue the bargaining process on December 12, 13, 20, and 21, 2023.
We hope to be able to discuss the majority of the proposals within those five scheduled days of bargaining.
Additionally, there remained a vacancy on the bargaining committee and it is our understanding that a meeting was held by the bargaining unit members at BCCLA to discuss. We’ve been advised that the majority of members agreed that Darcie Dyer should serve as the second bargaining committee member.
We wanted to let you know that Darcie was informed today that they will be appointed to serve on the bargaining committee, along with Veronica Martisius and myself, as the union representative and spokesperson.
We welcome Darcie on to the bargaining committee.
