Apply Now: Join MoveUP’s Youth Delegation to CLC Winter School 2026

Hi Members,
The Youth Action Committee (YAC) is excited to announce an opportunity for young workers to attend the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) Winter School at Harrison Hot Springs.
We’re inviting MoveUP members to apply for the Young Workers in Action course, taking place January 18–23, 2026 (Week 2) — a dynamic week of learning, networking, and skill-building alongside young trade unionists from across the country.
We also encourage members who have already taken this course or have more experience to apply for other Winter School programs that align with your goals for leadership and union development.
For full course descriptions and scholarship information, please visit the Canadian Labour Congress Winter School website. Because Winter School can be costly and space is limited, we strongly encourage all interested members to apply for a scholarship.

Your YAC co-chairs will review applications based on the thoughtfulness of responses and aim to ensure diverse representation across MoveUP’s bargaining units and equity-seeking groups. One spot will be reserved for a member outside the Lower Mainland, reflecting our commitment to engaging members from all regions.
We’ll contact successful applicants by the end of November 2025.
