An election has been called. Now, we need you!

To: Political Action Committee Members
Dear Political Action Committee members,
A federal election has been called, and Election Day is just over a month away on April 28. This is the moment to put your training into action and help elect leaders who stand up for workers.
How You Can Get Involved
Due to Elections Canada’s stricter regulations (compared to Elections BC) and our own capacity limits, MoveUP will focus on email and social media outreach rather than organizing direct campaign events like door-knocking, texting, or calling.
However, we strongly encourage you to:
- Join Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) events in key ridings
- Volunteer with a campaign in your own riding (or another target riding)
One key event is the CLC’s massive text bank on Thursday, April 3 at 4 p.m. PT, where volunteers will connect with thousands of workers across the country. RSVP for the text bank here.

Capture & Share Your Engagement
If you take part in volunteer events, snap some photos to document your activism! MoveUP’s Communications team may be able to use them. Before sending, please ensure that anyone in the photo has given their consent.
