ABSBC – Repatriation – Benefits on May 1, 2018

To: All MoveUP Members at Accenture
It is important to note that in order to be eligible for benefits at BC Hydro as of May 1, 2018 (unless you have a waiting period for certain benefits), you will have to start active employment on May 1, 2018. Therefore, if you are sick or on a leave of absence from ABSBC, your benefit coverage will not take effect and you will not become an employee of BC Hydro until the date you begin active employment.
Your benefits with Accenture will cease April 30, 2018. If you are absent on May 1, 2018 for a lengthy period of time, you may be eligible for medical employment insurance benefits until you start active employment at BC Hydro.
