ABSBC – Clarification on Benefits Bulletin sent on April 20, 2018

On April 20, 2018 the Union released a bulletin regarding eligibility for benefits as of May 1, 2018.  To clarify, any person who is on an approved leave of absence of Long Term Disability or Maternity Leave will have their benefits continue under Green Shield as of May 1, 2018.

For those members who are on sick leave, other than the approved leaves as listed above, you will not be eligible for benefits until the start of active work at BC Hydro.  Your sick leave benefits cease as of April 30, 2018 at Accenture.
