ICBC – Bargaining Update #1 – Proposals Exchanged
December 8, 2025
To: All MoveUP members at ICBC
Your bargaining committee met with ICBC on December 3, 2025, to commence bargaining.
On this day, the parties each tabled their respective proposal packages, and provided a basic summary of each one.
The parties have just exchanged proposals and there is a lot more discussion to be had prior to being able to reach an agreement. Both parties have significant proposals on the table and undoubtedly the final package will look very different from what you see in the links below.
Your bargaining committee is committed to the process, and ICBC has expressed the same.
ICBC has tabled 17 proposals. You can read them here.
Your bargaining committee has tabled 63 proposals. You can read them here.
You will see that your bargaining committee has assembled a thoughtfully composed package of proposals that was crafted with direct input from you.
What’s Next?
The committees decided to use December 4, 2025, to caucus and review each other’s proposal package, and prepare responses. Our next meetings are on December 9, 10 and 11, 2025. We will update you again on our progress following those dates.
Communication between all ICBC members and your bargaining committee will be critical through this process. We plan to expand communications in the New Year to ensure all members are up to date and informed.
We will start this process by holding a telephone town hall for all members in the new year. Details on this will be forthcoming.
