BC Transit – Bargaining Update #2

Your bargaining committee met with your employer on October 28-30 to continue the process of renewing the collective agreement.

The parties further discussed the non-monetary items that were tabled in September.  The parties identified some areas of agreement, but it is clear there is still some work to do as the parties work towards a renewed collective agreement.

The parties are discussing bargaining dates in the new year but expect to reconvene on November 17-19 and December 10-12. We will provide a further update following those dates.

Thanks again for all the support that you have given to your bargaining committee. We are committed to bringing back the best possible agreement.
