BCRCC/CRC Membership Meeting – November 5, 2025

To: All MoveUP members at BC Regional Council of Carpenters
We are calling a membership meeting to discuss the state of bargaining on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
As indicated to you previously, the employer refuses to bargain with the union unless the union and the membership agree to contract strips, they provided in their Section 78 Final Offer package which you all unanimously rejected.
The employer pulled out of mediation at the Labour Relations Board citing no progress and left it to the union to determine next steps.
You will recall that your union agreed to mediation in the hopes of moving bargaining along with the LRB mediator’s assistance.
The collective agreement has now been expired for 15 months, and the union needs you to tell us what to do next.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you attend this meeting, if at all possible.
We have asked Vice-President Christy Slusarenko to be in attendance if her schedules allows to take questions about strike votes and the job action process, and union supports in the event of a strike.
