UA Local 324 – Tentative Agreement Reached

Your bargaining committee met with the Employer to start collective bargaining on June 24, 2024.  

The parties have signed off a tentative agreement with no concessions as follows: 

• 3 Year agreement from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2027 

• wage increases of 3.0% in each year of the agreement (building on increases that occurred mid-contract) 

• management rights article (Fair and Reasonable Clause) 

• bereavement leave was increased to five paid days up from the current three days.

• improved pension and benefit contribution rates and related language 

• confirmed access to entitlements for the employee’s next of kin in the event of the employee’s death.
