Executive Board election voting now open; Deadline to vote is July 15

To: All MoveUP Members
Voting is now open in MoveUP’s Executive Board election. Members who are in good standing and have created a Member Portal login prior to the communicated deadline of last Thursday are eligible to vote.
As a member in good standing and with an active Member Portal account, you will be able to cast your vote for president, secretary-treasurer, as well as for the executive board member(s) to represent your specific constituency.
- If you work at ICBC, you will be able to cast your vote for the six (6) executive board member positions available.
- If you work at BC Hydro Group, you will be able to cast your vote for the four (4) positions available.
- For all other constituencies, including FortisBC as well as all workplaces within the Combined Units, you will be able to cast your vote for the one (1) position available in your respective area.

Where do I vote?
To vote, please log in to your Member Portal account. Once you have logged in, you will see a large “Click here to vote” button. When you click on that button, it will bring up all ballots that you are eligible to cast your vote in.
Voting opens: Monday, June 24, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. PT
Voting closes: Monday, July 15, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. PT
What about voting for vice-presidents?
Vice-presidents for the three respective components (ICBC, Utilities, and Combined Units) will be elected by delegates at MoveUP’s Convention. A candidate must be on the executive board to run for vice-president. If you are interested in potentially attending our 2024 Convention, please visit MoveUPTogether.ca/convention2024 for more information. From there, you can fill out the Expression of Interest form.
