Telecommunication Workers Pension Plan – Tentative Agreement Reached – Meeting Notice
March 6, 2023
To: All MoveUP members at TWPP
We are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative collective agreement with your employer. The tentative agreement includes:
- 5 year agreement with full retroactivity from January 1, 2023.
- The agreement is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2027 as follows:
Effective January 1, 2023 | 4% Increase to all Categories Signing bonus of $1000.00 upon ratification |
Effective January 1, 2024 | 4% Increase to all Categories |
Effective January 1, 2025 | 3% Increase to all Categories |
Effective January 1, 2026 | **COLA CPI plus 0.50% |
Effective January 1, 2027 | **COLA CPI plus 1.00% |
**COLA Adjustment to be calculated based on average Consumer Price Index (CPI) (Vancouver all-items) for previous calendar year (January to January).
- National Day of Truth and Reconciliation (September 30th) added to the list of holidays.
The parties agree to unanimously recommend acceptance of this Memorandum of Agreement to their respective principals.
We will be holding a virtual ratification meeting to discuss the Memorandum of Agreement. The meeting details are as follows:

How you vote

If you haven’t already registered for your account, you will need your membership number and home email address and then click here. If you do not know your membership number please email membership and they will assist you with this. If you are not registered on the member portal prior to the vote opening you will not be eligible to vote.

Voting opens: Tuesday, March 14 at 8:30 am
Voting closes: Friday, March 17 at 4:30 pm
