Kelowna Cabs – Bargaining Update #2

To: All MoveUP members at Kelowna Cabs
Your bargaining committee had pre-scheduled bargaining dates on September 27 and 28. The first session on September 27 was very productive, and we are pleased to report that considerable progress was made on key non-monetary proposals. Unfortunately, the employer had to cancel the second session on September 28 due to last-minute personal matters.
Your bargaining committee will be returning to the table on December 6, 7, 18, and 19. In the coming sessions, your bargaining team will continue to focus on outstanding non-monetary and monetary proposals. During these sessions, we will continue to make positive strides towards reaching a renewed Collective Agreement. We are fully aware of your goals, and they remain a top priority for us as negotiations continue.
