ICBC-Payroll Improvement for Part-time Employees

To: All MoveUP members at ICBC Part Time Workers
We are very pleased to announce that part-time employees at ICBC now have the right to request payouts of their statutory holidays and vacation entitlement time banks up four times per calendar year!
This was an issue that part-time workers identified would improve their work/life balance and, therefore, was something we pushed for during our most recent round of bargaining. At the time, ICBC was uncertain if their new payroll system could be adapted to make this change. However, they understood your concerns and committed to try. We are glad to see this change has now been implemented.
We intend to have this reflected in the language of Article 6.03 (c)(vi) of the new collective agreement.
