CUPE BC & Locals-Bargaining-Tentative Agreement Reached

To: All MoveUP Members at CUPEBC and Locals
Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have finalized negotiating a tentative collective agreement with your employer, CUPE BC and Locals. You can view the MOA here.
Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- 2 year agreement
- $1.25/Hr Year 1, 3% Year 2
- $500.00 signing bonus
- 5 Paid Days Indigenous Cultural Leave
- Acupuncture coverage increase to $500.00/Yr
- Chiropractor coverage increase to $800.00/Yr
- Vision Care coverage increase to $600.00/Yr
- Coverage for all vaccines, including Shingles
- Increase to Dental Part B to 80%
Your bargaining committee is recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.
We will be holding a meeting in order to review the tentative agreement with you. This will also be your opportunity to vote on the tentative agreement. The vote will be conducted by secret ballot online. Please make every effort to attend.
