Coast Mountain Bus – Backseat Policy Survey

To: All MoveUP members at Coast Mountain Bus
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, your union and employer have been creating new safety measures in efforts to ensure employee safety. While MoveUP applauds many of the new protocols in place, we do acknowledge that there is a concern that some may in fact cause long term injuries or place members in jeopardy not virus related. Your union needs your input and concerns, so we are better able to address the issues regarding some of the new COVID-19 protocols.
Together with the MoveUP members of your OH&S committee, we have developed a short survey attached here about the Backseat Policy. We strongly encourage you all to take the time to complete and add your comments so that we are better able to advocate on your behalf.
The last OH&S survey sent out to your department about musculoskeletal injury helped reduce the number of hours members were required to ride buses, so these surveys can make a difference.
