As shared last Friday, MoveUP and your employer have agreed to the mediator’s recommended terms of settlement to conclude bargaining and the strike. The parties have tentatively agreed to a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which can be found here for your review in advance of our ratification meetings this week.

Highlights of the tentative agreement include:

    • July 1 2024 – June 30 2025: 2%, with a potential cost of living adjustment increase to 3%
  • Annual Wellness Spending Account of $300.00 (available upon ratification)
  • Secured, ongoing funding for the support staff innovation fund (labour market adjustments, transit subsidy, carpooling subsidy)

  • Work hour pilot for the Chidren’s Center
