BCNDP-Tentative Agreement and Ratification Meeting
July 25, 2023
To: All MoveUP Members at BCNDP
As shared last Friday, MoveUP and your employer have negotiated a tentative agreement.
Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- 3 year agreement
- General wage increases of 6% in year 1, 3% in year 2, and 3% in year 3
- Enhanced Bereavement Leave
- Indigenous Cultural Leave
- $300/2yr cell phone purchase allowance
- $120/mo cell phone usage allowance
- Increase to psychologist coverage to $1500/yr
Your bargaining committee is recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.
We will be holding a meeting in order to review the tentative agreement with you and to conduct a ratification vote.
The ratification meeting details are as follows:

TIME: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
PLACE: Zoom (register for the meeting here)
Please make every effort to attend.
How and when to vote:
Voting will commence on Thursday July 27, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. and close Tuesday August 1, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
To vote, simply log in to the Members Portal https://memberportal.moveuptogether.ca/ and you will see the option to vote on the screen. If you are having difficulty signing into the member portal, please email membership@moveuptogether.ca. If you haven’t already registered for your account, you will need your membership number and home email address. If you do not know your membership number you can obtain this number through an online form at https://moveuptogether.ca/membernumber/
Please email membership and they will assist you with this. If you are not registered on the member portal prior to the voting opening you will not be eligible to vote. It is recommended you attempt to login into the Members Portal now to ensure you have access.
