BCFed-Ratification Meeting-Tentative Agreement Reached
August 2, 2023
To: All MoveUP members at BC Federation of Labour
We are please to announce that we have reached a tentative collective agreement with your employer. You can read the Memorandum of Agreement here.
Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- 4 year, 5% year 1, 4% year 2, 3% year 3, 3% year 4
- $2000.00 signing bonus
- Increased sick leave entitlements
- Marriage Leave
- Indigenous Cultural Leave
The parties agree to unanimously recommend acceptance of this Memorandum of Agreement to their respective principals.
The ratification meeting details are as follows:
DATE: Monday, August 14, 2023
TIME: Noon – 1 p.m.
PLACE: Zoom (register for the meeting here)
Please make every effort to attend.
How and when to vote:
Voting will commence on Monday August 14, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. and close Tuesday August 15, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
To vote, simply log in to the Members Portal https://memberportal.moveuptogether.ca/ and you will see the option to vote on the screen. If you are having difficulty signing into the member portal, please email membership@moveuptogether.ca. If you haven’t already registered for your account, you will need your membership number and home email address. If you do not know your membership number you can obtain this number through an online form at https://moveuptogether.ca/membernumber/
Please email membership and they will assist you with this. If you are not registered on the member portal prior to the voting opening you will not be eligible to vote. It is recommended you attempt to login into the Members Portal now to ensure you have access.
