AVIS Bargaining

To: All Members at AVIS/Budget Members
Our collective agreement with AVIS is set to expire on May 31st, 2022. In preparation your union is seeking volunteers to be on the bargaining committee as the voice of membership. The role of the bargaining committee is one of the most important union roles you can perform on behalf of our members. In order to be eligible, members must be a job steward, executive councilor or an executive board member in good standing with the union. We also encourage our new members from Budget to put their names forward. It would be wonderful to have you involved with bargaining to continue building the solidarity and the cohesive relationship we’ve developed since the merger.
There will be a limit to how many members will make up the committee. Should we have more job stewards express interest we will then hold an election.
