FortisBC – Bargaining Update #10

To: All MoveUP members at FortisBC
We write to update you about our negotiations with the employer, which last took place on April 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9, 2024.
Over the course of these five days, the parties continued to make progress through our outstanding non-monetary proposals.
At this time, nearly all non-monetary issues have either been accepted, declined, withdrawn, or moved to impasse. We are cautiously optimistic that we may present our monetary proposals to the employer during our next block of bargaining dates.
Our next scheduled bargaining dates are April 24, 29, 30, and May 1, with further dates scheduled on May 13, 14, and 15, 2024.
We will update you again shortly after our next block of dates, or if we reach a significant milestone in our progress prior to that.
