To: All MoveUP members at Xylem Water Solutions (ITT FLYGT)
We are pleased to announce that Hoda Jafari was nominated by the members to serve on the bargaining committee for upcoming negotiations. Hoda has accepted the nomination. Your collective agreement expires on March 31, 2024, and it continues in full force and effect until we reach a renewed collective agreement. You can refer to Article 23 of the collective agreement to find the language that continues to protect your rights.
In the near future we will be gathering the bargaining committee together to meet and develop surveys which we will send to you to complete. The results of this survey will provide us with a list of issues that you have determined are most important to take to the table for this round of bargaining. We will also be discussing and preparing the bargaining proposals.
Once we have prepared all the bargaining proposals, we will hold a general membership meeting to review the proposals with all of you. We will also set dates to bargain with your employer.
To be successful in bargaining we need all of you to support your committee and show your employer we have solidarity and want a fair and equitable collective agreement.
