This is a reminder that the voting window opened on November 9, 2023. In addition, please find attached here a list of FAQ’s if you have not already viewed them.
Update on Health and Welfare and Pension Plan Contributions
There has been some discussion about the timing and the amount of additional contributions for the health and welfare plan and the COPE pension plan.
The bargaining committee and the trustees of both plans recommend:
Effective on the date of ratification the plan increases will be as follows:
Health and Welfare Plan—an additional $0.15 per hour.
COPE Pension Plan—an additional $0.10 per hour
How you vote
To vote, simply log in to the member portal and you will see the option to vote on the screen. If you are having difficulty signing into the member portal, please email membership@moveuptogether.ca. If you haven’t already registered for your account, you will need your membership number and home email address and then click here. If you do not know your membership number please email membership and they will assist you with this. If you are not registered on the member portal prior to the vote opening you will not be eligible to vote.
Online voting
Voting opens: Thursday, November 9 at 9:00 a.m.
Voting closes: Monday, November 13 at 3:00 p.m.
