Bargaining Update – Membership Meeting
April 29, 2021
To: All MoveUP members at Seaspan ULC
Your bargaining committee met with the employer again on Friday, April 23, 2021. In total, your bargaining committee has met with the employer for 10 sessions. While all but one of the non-monetary items have been signed off or withdrawn, there are still several outstanding monetary items left on the table.
Your committee has come to the juncture where a meeting with the membership is necessary to discuss where we stand.
A virtual membership meeting will be held as follows:

Time: 5:00 p.m.
A Zoom link will be sent to your home email addresses prior to the meeting. If you’re not familiar with Zoom, you will have the option to click on a link or call in to the meeting using a phone number provided. All of the necessary information will be contained in a subsequent email.
It is very important for you to attend this meeting and use your voice in bargaining.
