To: All MoveUP Members at Greenpeace Canada
My name is Nathan Beausoleil and I am delighted to represent you and your coworkers as your MoveUp union representative.
This is a reminder that we will be having your first union membership meeting.
If you are interested in being a representative on the bargaining committee, please email me at nbeausoleil@moveuptogether.ca or make it known at the upcoming meeting. We are also canvassing for job stewards. If you would like more information about what either of these positions entail, please feel free to contact me. I will also be sending out more information about the role of job steward very soon.
Your group is entitled to one worker representative and one alternate on the bargaining committee. The representative will work alongside a staff representative to achieve gains for you and your coworkers. At this upcoming meeting, your worker representative will be selected. Please make every effort to attend.
This meeting is also a time to discuss workplace issues, concerns and for me to get to know you.
