CMAW 1995 – Bargaining Update #1

To: All MoveUP Members at CMAW 1995:

Your bargaining committee met with the employer at the CMAW 1995 offices on May 13, 14, and 16, 2024 for collective bargaining.

The parties have discussed and tabled all items including monetary proposals and benefits.

The parties have signed off all non-monetary proposals the union tabled, including improved process language on:

  • Management rights
  • Right of Representation
  • Improved benefits contribution language
  • First Responders Leave
  • Impact of Legislation

The outstanding issue are wage increases as the employer and union are at an impasse based on the employer’s last final offer, and despite your committee’s best efforts to conclude an agreement.

A membership meeting will be held on May 21, 2024 to discuss the state of bargaining.
